BarnSwallow Labradors was started in 1990 in Fairfield, Connecticut and moved to Ponte Vedra, Florida in 1997. My increasing love of the breed and my desire to create the style of Labrador that I feel is closest to the true Labrador type...a strongly built, short coupled, active dog with an emphasis on physical soundness, an easy-going disposition, an even temperament, and a fun-loving personality continues today. 

   My goal as a breeder is to make a contribution to the overall improvement of the Labrador as a breed and to that end, I am using a combination of English and American bloodlines that are consistently producing sound dual-purpose dogs that will be loving family pets and companions.

    All BarnSwallow Labradors are OFA or Penn Hip evaluated before being used in my breeding program. They are also ACVO examined yearly by a Board Certified Opthalmologist.

    I am currently a member of the Labrador Retriever Club, Inc., the National LRC,Inc., the Greater Atlanta LRC, the South Florida LRC, the Raleigh-Durham LRC and the Coastal Carolina LRC.
